The state’s CORE offices will host a series of feedback sessions in each region between Oct. 28 and Nov. 17 to provide an opportunity for districts to give feedback on the currently proposed RTI2 manual revisions. Our UC CORE Office will host 2 sessions (participants will CHOOSE ONE) on November 7 from 1:00pm-3:00pm and November 16 from 9:00am-11:00am.
Districts are encouraged to send teams of up to three people to attend sessions to review and provide feedback on the proposed revisions. These two-hour regional sessions will provide a format for district teams to collaborate with other districts in discussing the changes within each applicable component of the manual and to have a voice in the revision process.
District feedback will be used to strengthen the currently proposed revisions. The department will make necessary adjustments before the final version is presented at the PIE conference in January.
